The Viper systems we fit
Viper 4105 — one-way remote start
The entry point into Viper remote start. Press the remote and the vehicle starts. Viper lists its range at up to a quarter of a mile. It does not send confirmation back to the remote, which for many drivers is not an issue if the vehicle is parked within sight.
Viper 5906 Responder HD — two-way security and remote start
Viper’s top-of-the-line two-way system, with a colour display on the remote. The important practical difference is confirmation: the remote tells you the vehicle has started rather than leaving you to guess. Viper lists the Responder HD at a one-mile range, roughly four times the 4105.
Viper 350 Plus — one-way security system
A security system rather than a remote starter, for drivers whose main concern is protecting the vehicle rather than warming it up.
